Greetings, families for peace!
I recently shared news about 2nd Annual Commemoration of September 18th World Alliance of Religions’ Peace Summit.
Today we are going to share comments from leaders who attended the summit.
First, let us hear from those who attended the Advocacy Forum for the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War: Plan of Action for Advocacy to Intergovernmental Organizations, Governments, and the Public.
(Supreme Court Chief Lawyer of Bangladesh)– It is very touching to see how families for peace have grown so much.
I feel like not just two years but a decade has passed when seeing such great improvement made and people from all over the world gathered here.
We would definitely succeed in legislating the international law for Peace.
(Congressman of Israel)– I was astonished by Chairman Lee’s speech this morning.
Chairman Lee has overwhelming passion and it seems like peace is the only goal of his life. I also was deeply touched by Chairman Lee. He is a great leader.
(Minister of Gender Equality in Cambodia) – Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War was drafted last March.
Now is the time to urge, to raise awareness, and to discuss how to help and support.
We need practical approach and definite action to legislate this declaration.
(4th Prime Minister of Armenia) – Compared to 30 years ago, wars have increased tenfold.
This affects global economy. I suppose this is an important indicator that lets people realize why we need to urge for peace globally.
(Saad Harir office director, Lebanon) – We should not believe in rumors but trust HWPL and follow HWPL.
Why should anyone interrupt HWPL when it works for peace according to the will of God and the scripture?
Chairman Lee is truly a great man who thinks solely of virtues for all nations.
( International Secretary General of International Catholic Student Council, France) – I will actively urge for legislation of Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War.
I believe this law would lead us to peace.
I am very fond of the Chairman’s idea to proceed from declaration to execution.
(President of Tunisia Human Rights Confederate – Nobel Prize Awardee)-We should campaign so that institutions both related and unrelated to the United Nations would join.
It would be more effective to appeal to congressmen and have the Congress urge its government and state leader than to directly appeal to government institutions and state leaders.
(President of Mahatma MK Gandhi foundation) – Chairman Lee is initiating a second renaissance in culture, diversity, and religion.
He is uniting the world under one roof that is HWPL.
On behalf of the Congress of India, we will recommend Chairman Lee as a candidate for Nobel Peace Prize.
Coming up next are the comments from those who attended the 4th HWPL International Law Peace Committee Meeting.
